THE ROLE
TruSummit Solutions is seeking a driven and experienced Sales Director / Revenue Operations Leader to lead our growth strategy, drive new client acquisition, and expand relationships with our existing customers. This is a player-coach role, ideal for a seasoned sales professional who thrives in a consultative selling environment and is eager to build and scale a high-performing sales organization.
You will be responsible for curating, developing, and executing our sales go-to-market (GTM) strategy, owning the full sales lifecycle while working closely with internal teams, including Marketing, Pre-Sales, and Delivery. You’ll be equally comfortable closing complex enterprise deals as you are managing more transactional sales, always with an eye toward long-term client value.
This role is a strategic growth hire for TruSummit and offers the opportunity to influence how we go to market, partner with Salesforce, and build out our next phase of commercial maturity.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead end-to-end sales strategy and execution, including planning, account development, pipeline management, and revenue forecasting.
Personally manage full sales cycles from initial prospecting and consultative discovery through proposal and close.
Recruit, coach, and lead a high-performing sales team, creating a culture of accountability, growth, and performance.
Collaborate with Marketing to shape demand generation, campaign messaging, and lead qualification processes.
Stay informed on industry trends and Salesforce product evolution to better position TruSummit’s services.
Drive proactive outbound prospecting efforts, leveraging your strong network and industry relationships to build new opportunities.
Forecast and report on pipeline health, revenue projections, and key sales KPIs using TruSummit’s Salesforce instance.
Deeply understand and position the full Salesforce platform and TruSummit’s consulting services to address customer pain points and drive business outcomes.
Drive strategic alignment and co-selling opportunities with Salesforce Account Executives and ecosystem partners.
Conduct discovery sessions, lead client conversations, and present tailored proposals that align TruSummit’s capabilities with client business objectives.
Operate with a consultative sales mindset articulating value, linking business objectives to technology outcomes, and educating clients on best practices.
Develop SOWs, pricing models, and RFP responses in collaboration with solution architects and delivery teams.
Foster a data-driven and feedback-oriented culture within the sales organization.
Represent TruSummit externally with confidence, professionalism, and credibility.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA a plus
8+ years of enterprise software or professional services sales experience with a proven ability to meet or exceed revenue targets
5+ years of experience building or leading a sales team, including hiring, mentoring, and performance management
Experience within the Salesforce ecosystem is required, including working knowledge of Salesforce Clouds (e.g., Sales, Service, Field Service)
Demonstrated hunter mentality and a consistent track record of identifying and closing new business opportunities
Deep prospecting skills and the ability to open doors through industry research, social selling, referrals, and warm network outreach
Strong executive presence and ability to build trusted relationships with C-suite decision-makers.
Consultative selling approach with the ability to translate pain points into compelling solution narratives.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, written and verbal.
Deep understanding of sales process optimization, pipeline management, and CRM best practices
Strong business acumen and a strategic mindset with the ability to manage complex sales cycles
Enthusiasm for learning new industries, navigating ambiguity, and collaborating cross-functionally
Knowledge of RevOps functions, CRM best practices, and sales operations is preferred.- This role is a Remote/Telecommute position with the ability to travel up to 10-30%
