THE ROLE 

As a Senior Account Executive at TruSummit, you are the owner and driver of complex Salesforce services deals, responsible for driving deal strategy, leading client engagement, and closing high-value opportunities.  This is a consultative, solution-oriented role where you lead the sales process end-to-end while partnering closely with pre-sales solution architects who are responsible for technical solution design. You are expected to develop a strong understanding of the solutions being proposed and confidently position their business value, ensuring alignment between client needs, proposed approach, and commercial structure. You will act as the quarterback of the deal, leading both client stakeholders and internal teams from discovery through close.  


RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Own and lead end-to-end services sales cycles, including discovery, solutioning, proposal development, and close. 

  • Develop a strong working understanding of proposed Salesforce solutions and delivery approaches 

  • Partner closely with pre-sales architects to shape and refine solution positioning 

  • Translate solution capabilities into clear business outcomes and value for clients 

  • Confidently present and defend the proposed approach to business stakeholders 

  • Drive revenue by producing a well-managed, profitable, and growing book of business  

  • Drive alignment, urgency, and accountability across all stakeholders 

  • Identify and drive expansion opportunities within existing accounts 

  • Serve as the single point of accountability for pipeline health, forecast accuracy, deal progression and outcome 

  • Own deal quality including scope alignment, profitable deal structuring, pricing strategy, and margin integrity 

  • Lead development of Statements of Work (SOWs), including scope, assumptions, and commercial structure 

  • Target, develop, and maintain key buyer/influencer relationships across multiple client accounts 

  • Act as a trusted advisor, aligning TruSummit’s capabilities to long-term client strategy 

  • Lead cross-functional deal teams (solution architects, delivery, partners) to drive internal alignment on pursuit strategy and execution  

  • Remote/Telecommute position with the ability to travel up to 50% 

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS  

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred 

  • 8–12+ years of experience in enterprise consulting or services sales 

  • Proven track record closing complex services deals ($150K–$2M+) 

  • Experience working with pre-sales / solution architects in a team-based selling model 

  • Strong ability to understand and communicate technology solutions at a business level 

  • Experience selling within the Salesforce ecosystem or similar enterprise platforms 

  • Experience engaging both business and technical stakeholders, including the C-suite 

  • Strong commercial acumen (pricing, deal structuring, negotiation) 

  • Background in consulting, SI, or professional services sales 

  • Strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities and implementation approaches 

  • Experience leading solution-based selling motions, not just product sales 

  • Experience working within a system integrator or consulting firm environment 

  • Highly self-motivated and comfortable operating as a senior, autonomous seller
